Glazed is not Blazed Glazed: this guide is for Pokémon Glazed v9.1. Blazed Glazed, Glazed Reborn and older beta builds are separate releases. Some Emerald-derived codes overlap, but compatibility is never guaranteed across different patches.

GamePokémon Glazed
Version9.1
Platform / BaseGBA / Pokémon Emerald
FormatsGameShark, Action Replay & CodeBreaker

Pokémon Glazed began as an Emerald ROM hack and sends the player through Tunod, Johto and the Rankor Archipelago. Version 9.1 is the later completed update commonly used today. Because it changes Emerald’s maps, items, scripts and expanded Pokémon data, cheats that work in unmodified Emerald may still fail—or alter the wrong data—in Glazed.

Start with a disposable backup save. Activate one entry, obtain its effect and disable it again. Codes that appear harmless can still conflict with Glazed’s custom events and expanded data.

Working Pokémon Glazed v9.1 cheat codes

The orange buttons copy only the hexadecimal code. Put the cheat name in your emulator’s title field and the copied lines in its separate code field.

Rare Candy in Poké Mart

CodeBreaker • Recommended item method
82005274 0044

Use: enable the code before entering a Poké Mart. The first item offered should become Rare Candy. Buy the quantity you need, leave the Mart and disable the cheat.

Do not leave an item modifier active while buying normal story items. It continuously replaces the first shop slot.

Unlimited Master Balls in PC

GameShark / Action Replay • Master code required
D8BAE4D9 4864DCE5
A86CDBA5 19BA49B3

128898B6 EDA43037

Use: create the first two lines as a separate master-code entry and the final line as “Master Balls.” Enable the master first, then check the item PC.

The copy button includes both blocks, but many emulators require the master and value code to be saved separately.

Master Ball in Poké Mart for 0

GameShark / Action Replay • Alternative method
958D8046 A7151D70
8BB602F7 8CEB681A

Use: enable, enter a Poké Mart and check the first item. Buy what you need and turn the code off before continuing.

Unlimited Money

GameShark / Action Replay

A86CDBA5 19BA49B3
A57E2EDE A5AFF3E4
1C7B3231 B494738C
C051CCF6 975E8DA1

Use: enable during normal gameplay, open a shop or sell an item to refresh the displayed balance, then disable the entry after confirming the change.

Infinite EXP

CodeBreaker
82000060 270F
82022D48 270F
82022F7C 270F
8202309C 270F
820241F0 270F

Use: win a normal battle to receive a very large EXP gain. Disable it before the next battle once the desired level is reached.

Large level jumps can skip level-up moves and trigger several evolutions or move prompts in sequence. Save before using it.

Walk Through Walls

GameShark / Action Replay
7881A409 E2026E0C
8E883EFF 92E9660D

Use: enable only while passing an obstacle, then stand on a valid floor tile and disable it before using a door, ladder, cave exit or scripted interaction.

High risk: bypassing an NPC or map trigger can permanently block Glazed’s story. Never save while standing outside normal map boundaries.

No Random Battles

GameShark / Action Replay
B505DB41 6E39EA4E

Use: enable while travelling through grass, caves or water. Trainer and scripted battles should still occur. Disable when you need normal wild encounters.

100% Catch Rate

GameShark / Action Replay
758497A6 E9A9CB7E
770FC250 90665A0D
758497A6 E9A9CB7E
7006BEA2 BB0BC5B6

Use: enable for a normal encounter, throw a ball and disable the code after the successful capture.

Do not force-catch glitch species, battle-only forms or scripted Pokémon not designed for capture; Glazed v9.1 documents potential crashes and Bad Eggs around certain expanded slots.

Shiny Wild Pokémon

GameShark / Action Replay • Use cautiously
F3A9A86D 4E2629B4

093ECE84 CE99DAF5
9045E027 05EA1143
A6A74710 82BD7E29

Use: activate before entering grass or a cave and begin a wild encounter. Disable it after finding the intended shiny.

Shiny codes may affect personality values, nature, gender or names depending on the emulator and encounter. Test on a spare save before keeping the result.

Maximum Stats — first party Pokémon

GameShark / Action Replay • Permanent modification
35A039FD B90C0C5B
973FBE3F EDC8200D
979050AE 6F56B497
E9B89F9D C73B5749
DBC9F375 30D76D78
35B2E18D FC573426

Use: move the intended Pokémon into party slot one, enable the entry and open its summary. Disable after the values appear.

The altered stats can remain after saving. This is not suitable if you want normally trained or transferable Pokémon.

Poké Mart item modifier

Replace YYYY with one item ID below, enable the resulting CodeBreaker entry and enter a Poké Mart. The first shop item should change. Purchase it, exit and switch the cheat off.

Penthouse Key fix: use 82005274 015F only if the key is missing because of the documented event problem. Do not duplicate key items without a reason.

How to use Pokémon Glazed cheats

  1. Confirm the build. Check that you are playing Pokémon Glazed v9.1—not Blazed Glazed, Glazed Reborn or an older beta.
  2. Back up the .sav file. Copy the battery save outside the emulator folder. Save states alone may preserve corrupted memory.
  3. Create one cheat entry. Open Cheats in My Boy!, Pizza Boy, mGBA, VBA-M or Delta and select the format printed above.
  4. Keep the title separate. Put “Rare Candy” in the name field and only the hexadecimal code in the code field.
  5. Use the required trigger. Enter a Poké Mart for item modifiers, finish a battle for EXP, or open the item PC for the PC Master Ball code.
  6. Disable and verify. Turn the code off, save normally, close the game and reload once to confirm the save remains healthy.

Pokémon Glazed cheats not working?

The code saves but does nothing

Verify its format first. CodeBreaker item entries often appear only after entering a Poké Mart; PC codes require item storage; EXP requires finishing a battle.

The first shop item did not change

Enable the item code before entering the building. If already inside, leave, disable and re-enable the cheat, then re-enter so the shop data reloads.

My emulator rejects multiple lines

Some free emulator versions require each line to be stored separately. Others need “GameShark v3” or “Action Replay” rather than CodeBreaker. Match the listed format.

The game freezes or creates a Bad Egg

Disable every cheat and reload your untouched backup. Avoid wild modifiers and forced captures involving expanded Glazed species slots, event Pokémon or custom forms.

The cheat works on an older guide but not v9.1

Glazed has several releases, and v9.1 changed or expanded game data. Confirm the patch version and avoid assuming a beta, Reborn or Blazed Glazed code is interchangeable.

A story event stopped activating

Reload a save made before using Walk Through Walls. Cross the area normally so every map and NPC trigger runs in the intended order.

Pokémon Glazed v9.1 cheat FAQ

Is Pokémon Glazed v9.1 the same as Blazed Glazed?

No. Blazed Glazed is an offshoot with its own balancing and changes. This page targets Glazed v9.1, so do not assume every code or troubleshooting step transfers between them.

Which base game does Pokémon Glazed use?

Glazed is built from Pokémon Emerald. That explains why some Emerald codes are compatible, but the hack’s custom scripts, maps, items and expanded species can make other addresses unsafe.

Why is Rare Candy sold in a Poké Mart instead of appearing in my Bag?

The CodeBreaker entry changes the first shop slot. It does not directly add an item to the Bag. Enable it before entering a Mart, purchase the item and then disable it.

Can I activate Rare Candy and Master Ball together?

No benefit comes from stacking them, and simultaneous modifiers increase the chance of an overwritten item or conflicting result. Use one entry, disable it, then use the other.

Do the cheats work on Delta, My Boy! and mGBA?

These emulators support common GBA cheat formats, but their menus and auto-detection differ. Select the exact format shown and split master codes into separate entries when instructed.

Does CheatCodeDB provide a Pokémon Glazed ROM?

No. This is a cheat and compatibility guide only. Use a legitimate patch with a clean copy of the required base game that you legally own; do not download or distribute copyrighted ROM files.
