Party Pokémon species modifiers

Replace the final four digits 0002 with the hexadecimal species ID you want. Use these carefully: changing a party member to an invalid ID can corrupt party data.

How to use the codes

  1. Confirm v1.0 and the Title ID. Do not continue if an update is installed and the addresses do not match.
  2. Back up your save. Party modifiers and stat codes can make permanent changes after saving.
  3. Add the cheat. In Citra, open the game properties and Cheats tab. With Luma3DS, save entries in /luma/titles/TITLEID/cheats.txt.
  4. Enable one complete block. Load the save and change menus or enter a dungeon if the value does not refresh immediately.
  5. Disable the code after use. Save normally only after confirming the result is correct.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Why does the game crash as soon as I enable a cheat?

The address set probably does not match your game revision or region. Confirm v1.0, compare the full Title ID and retry with every other code disabled.

Will these codes work on v1.2?

No compatibility is claimed. Later updates relocate game data, and players have reported crashes with older cheat lists. This page deliberately covers v1.0 only.

Can I use the USA code on the European game?

No. The two releases use different Title IDs and memory addresses. Use only the column matching your copy.

Sources and verification

The v1.0 USA codes were checked against the archived CTRPF code database and the documented Project Pokémon research thread. Region-specific technical codes were cross-checked with the Mystery Dungeon Franchise Wiki; the European core list was checked against Ethereal Games.
